Spring Pruning

Spring time brings lots of new growth and unfortunately it also brings old growth. Lilacs are beautiful in the spring and they bring such a luscious smell.

They unfortunately become overgrown and look a mess after a few seasons. They need to be pruned just like other things in your garden to keep them looking beautiful.

Cutting away a third of the branches will keep them from becoming overgrown and keep those trees flowering for you year after year.
